We are looking for a part-time Business Development Representative to help us build relationships with local organizations that serve seniors and their families.
Position Summary
The Business Development Representative will focus on developing our Senior Home Safety and Fall Prevention referral network in the local community.
This is a relationship-building role, not a hard-selling role. The main goal is to create referral partnerships with senior-related organizations, attend local senior-focused events, and introduce our services to professionals and organizations that support older adults.

- Represent TruBlue of Flower Mound at local events and networking opportunities
- Introduce our senior home safety and fall prevention services in a professional and respectful manner
- Generate qualified leads and referral opportunities
- Maintain simple records of outreach activity, contacts, meetings, follow-ups, and lead status

This role may be a good fit for someone with experience in:
- Senior living sales
- Home health marketing
- Healthcare or therapy-related outreach
- Community outreach
- Nonprofit relationship building
- Real estate networking
- Referral-based sales
- Local Chamber of Commerce or community networking
Existing relationships in the senior care, healthcare, real estate, or local community network are highly preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable with in-person outreach and follow-up
- Professional, trustworthy, and friendly personality
- Interest in helping seniors live safely at home
- Ability to attend local events and networking meetings
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic email and reporting skills
- Sales, healthcare, senior care, real estate, or community outreach experience preferred
Compensation
This is a part-time position, approximately 10–15 hours per week.
Compensation includes:
- Base pay: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience and local network
- Commission: 3%–5% of collected revenue from BDR-generated jobs
- Initial trial period: 90 days
During the initial 90 days, the main performance focus will be:
- Number of referral partner contacts
- Number of in-person meetings
- Number of senior-related event opportunities identified
- Quality of follow-up activity
- Development of a senior referral pipeline
Immediate sales are valuable, but the primary goal is to build long-term referral relationships.
