TruBlue Home Ally is a home service company dedicated to helping homeowners maintain safe, comfortable, and well-maintained homes. We provide professional handyman services, home maintenance, home assessments, and aging-in-place solutions.
Our mission is simple: help busy adults and seniors protect their homes, maintain their independence, and have a trusted Home Ally they can call when something needs to be done.
As we launch and grow our Knoxville-area operations, we are looking for an experienced Office Manager/Administrator who can help keep our customers, technicians, schedules, and day-to-day operations organized.
Responsibilities
The Office Manager/Administrator will be responsible for:
Communicating with customers by phone, text, and email
Scheduling appointments for estimates and potential customers
Scheduling approved jobs based on technician and staffing availability
Coordinating communication between customers, technicians, and management
Tracking employee hours by job
Tracking materials and purchases associated with each project
Assisting management with invoicing once projects are completed
Assisting estimators with locating materials and researching pricing
Maintaining inventory of marketing materials, literature, and company supplies
Assisting with social media accounts and email communication with customers and prospects
Helping organize and improve office processes as the company grows
Handling last-minute schedule changes, cancellations, call-outs, and other day-to-day operational needs

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous office management, administrative, scheduling, or customer service experience
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience using CRM or scheduling platforms
Strong knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook and Nextdoor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
The ability to efficiently schedule and coordinate a growing team of technicians
The ability to stay organized when dealing with interruptions, cancellations, call-outs, and changing priorities
A strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership of responsibilities
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to communicate professionally with customers of different ages and backgrounds
The ability to work effectively with a diverse team
A basic understanding of business efficiency, expenses, and profitability
The ability to work independently in a remote environment
Qualified candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. This position will initially be primarily remote, with the possibility of working from a Knoxville-area office in the future as the company grows.
