Company Overview
TruBlue of Flower Mound provides home maintenance, repair, and senior-focused home safety improvement services in the North Dallas / Flower Mound area. We are developing a senior fall-risk reduction initiative designed to help older adults identify home safety risks, improve aging-in-place readiness, and reduce preventable fall hazards through practical home modification support.
Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Business Development / Outreach Coordinator to help build relationships with senior-related referral partners and support our Senior Fall Risk Reduction Initiative. This role will focus on outreach to senior communities, healthcare-related organizations, aging service providers, home care agencies, real estate professionals, and other local referral sources.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with phone calls, in-person visits, follow-up communication, and working with older adults and their families in a professional and empathetic manner.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development / Outreach
- Identify and contact local senior-related referral sources, including senior living communities, home care agencies, physical therapy clinics, occupational therapy providers, geriatric care managers, senior centers, churches, nonprofits, and real estate professionals.
- Conduct phone outreach, email follow-ups, and in-person visits.
- Schedule meetings with potential referral partners.
- Present the company’s senior home safety services and fall-risk reduction initiative.
- Maintain regular follow-up with referral sources to build trust and generate qualified leads.
FRI Assessment Support
- Help schedule Senior Fall Risk Inspection / FRI visits with interested seniors or family members.
- Assist with basic home safety assessment documentation using the company’s checklist and scoring tool.
- Take photos, record observations, and organize assessment data based on company guidelines.
- Help prepare simple follow-up summaries for customers and internal review.
Lead Management
- Track all outreach activity, referral contacts, appointments, leads, and follow-ups.
- Update CRM / spreadsheet records accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with the owner and Lead Handyman for estimate preparation and job follow-up.
- Support customer follow-up after assessments and completed work.
Research / Partnership Support
- Assist in identifying potential medical advisors, public health experts, PT/OT professionals, university contacts, and senior service agencies.
- Help prepare basic meeting materials and follow-up notes.
- Support documentation needed for the senior fall-risk reduction initiative.
Required Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Comfortable making phone calls and visiting local businesses/organizations.
- Professional, polite, and reliable.
- Able to work independently with clear weekly goals.
- Comfortable interacting with seniors and their family members.
- Detail-oriented and able to document activities accurately.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills: Google Sheets / Excel, email, CRM or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in senior care, home care, healthcare, physical therapy, occupational therapy, public health, social work, real estate, community outreach, or local B2B sales.
- Existing relationships in the senior care or healthcare community in the North Dallas / Flower Mound / Lewisville / Denton County area.
- Experience with referral-based sales.
- Interest in aging-in-place, senior safety, public health, or healthcare cost reduction.
- Bilingual ability is a plus but not required.
Performance Expectations — First 90 Days
- Build a list of 50+ senior-related referral targets.
- Contact at least 30 referral sources.
- Complete 10–15 in-person or Zoom meetings with referral partners.
- Generate 20–30 qualified senior home safety leads or assessment opportunities.
- Support completion of 20–30 FRI assessments.
- Maintain accurate outreach and lead records.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and ability to follow up consistently.
Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience and availability.
Possible structure:
- Part-time hourly compensation
- Monthly fixed stipend
- Performance bonus based on qualified FRI appointments, completed assessments, or closed projects
- Potential full-time opportunity depending on performance and business growth
