What You'll Be Doing

Most of your time will be spent working independently on residential projects.

Typical work includes:

• Bathroom remodeling
• Drywall repair and finishing
• Trim carpentry (baseboards, casing, etc.)
• Light framing and carpentry repairs
• Fascia board replacement
• Interior painting related to carpentry work
• General residential repair and improvement projects

Carpenters regularly perform drywall work on our jobs, so drywall experience is important.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

• Working at residential job sites
• Completing carpentry and remodeling work
• Reviewing the scope of work for each project
• Determining materials needed for the job
• Occasionally picking up materials from local suppliers
• Traveling to job sites within our service area

Most work takes place within Culpeper and Spotsylvania.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years carpentry or remodeling experience
• Experience with drywall repair and finishing
• Ability to work independently
• Must own your own carpentry tools
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to read and follow a scope of work
• Ability to determine materials needed for projects
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Team-oriented attitude

Applicants without at least five years of carpentry experience will not be considered.
