Handyman Assistant / Apprentice Technician

📍 Bulverde/ New Braunfels/ Spring Branch / Canyon Lake, TX
💰 $18–$24 per hour depending on experience
🕒 Full-Time | Monday–Friday

TruBlue of Hill Country is looking for a dependable Handyman Assistant / Apprentice Technician to join our growing team. We help homeowners and seniors with repairs, maintenance, and home safety upgrades that allow them to live comfortably and safely in their homes.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and wants to learn the skilled trades while working alongside experienced professionals.

What You’ll Do

Assist our lead technicians with a variety of residential projects including:

• drywall repair
• painting and trim work
• door and cabinet adjustments
• fixture installation
• grab bar and safety upgrades
• general home repairs and maintenance
• jobsite preparation and cleanup

You will learn proper repair techniques, customer service skills, and safe jobsite practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable and motivated to learn
• Interest in construction, carpentry, or handyman work
• Positive attitude and team mindset
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.

Bonus if you have experience with:

• basic carpentry
• painting
• drywall repair
• home maintenance work

But we are happy to train the right person with a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Work on ladders when needed
• Comfortable working inside and outside homes
